tagtog Sp. z o.o. ("tagtog") provides a text analytics platform ("platform", "Service") through a Software as a Service (SaaS) model. At tagtog the privacy and security of our customers and visitors are of paramount importance. tagtog is committed to protecting the data you share with us. This privacy policy explains how tagtog processes information that can be used to directly or indirectly identify an individual (“Personal Data”) collected through use of its website and platform.
When we refer to "tagtog" within this Privacy Policy, we are referring to "tagtog spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością", a Polish company with business address at ulica Mostowa 1, 80-778 Gdańsk, Poland, TAX ID NO: PL5833269042, REGON: 368554101, KRS: 0000700114.
For the purposes of this policy, tagtog defines the term “User” as an entity with which tagtog has an established relationship, and the term “Visitor” as an individual that visits our frontend website (https://www.tagtog.net or any page part of https://www.tagtog.net that is accessible without being logged in as a User).
Any information stored on tagtog's platform is treated as confidential. All information is stored securely and is accessed by authorized personnel only. tagtog implements and maintains appropriate technical, security and organisational measures to protect Personal Data against unauthorized or unlawful processing and use, and against accidental loss, destruction, damage, theft or disclosure.
2. Collection and use
2.1 General
The following sections cover the specifics of each of the two groups from which data is collected: website Visitors and Users.
2.1.1 Processing
All processing of Personal Data is performed in accordance with privacy rights and regulations following the EU Directive 95/46/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 October 1995 (the Directive), and the implementations of the Directive in local legislation. From May 25th, 2018, the Directive and local legislation based on the Directive will be replaced by the Regulations (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of Personal Data and on the free movement of such data, known as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and tagtog's processing will take place in accordance with the GDPR.
2.1.2 Controller
tagtog processes Personal Data as a Controller and in some cases also as a Processor, as defined in the Directive and the GDPR.
The tagtog entity which you as a User entered an agreement with when using tagtog’s platform, will be the Controller for User data, as outlined above in “Collection of User data” section.
All data collected by tagtog or User Content imported through the platform will be stored exclusively in secure hosting facilities provided by Amazon Web Services. tagtog has a data processing agreement in place with its provider, ensuring compliance with the Directive. All hosting is performed in accordance with the highest security regulations.
2.2 Website Visitors
2.2.1. General
If you are a Visitor to our website only, and not a User of our platform, then this section is relevant for you.
By visiting this website, you consent to the collection and use of your Personal Data as described herein. If you do not agree with the terms set out herein, please do not visit this website. If required by applicable law, we will seek your explicit consent to process Personal Data collected on this website or volunteered by you. Kindly note that any consent will be entirely voluntary. tagtog may collect, record and analyze information of Visitors to its website. We may use cookies. tagtog may add information collected by way of pageview activity. Furthermore, tagtog may collect and process any Personal Data that you volunteer to us in our website’s forms, such as when you sign up in the service.
tagtog gathers data about visits to the website, including numbers of Visitors and visits, Geo-location data, length of time spent on the site, pages clicked on or where Visitors have come. You can find detailed information in the next section.

2.3 Users
2.3.1. General
In order to provide services to its Users, tagtog collects certain types of personal data from them. This section will describe how this data is collected and used by tagtog.
Data entered or transferred into tagtog by Users such as texts, files, etc. ("User content") remains the property of the User and may not be shared with a third party by tagtog without express consent from the User.
2.3.2. Purpose of processing personal data
During a User’s registration on tagtog's platform ("sign up"), they provide their email address. This information is used by tagtog to identify the User and provide them with support and services.
tagtog Users can at any time access and edit, update or delete their contact details by sending an email to tagtog at legal@tagtog.net. Once these new Users log into tagtog, they meet the definition of User in this policy. tagtog will not retain User data longer than is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or as required by applicable laws or regulations.

2.3.3 User content
Users analyize text in tagtog. Users upload text to tagtog in the form of files or plain text. It is the User’s responsibility to ensure that this data does not contain personal data and it is used in accordance with applicable law as stated in tagtog's Terms of Service. tagtog will not process Personal Data for other purposes or by other means than instructed by its Users.
2.3.4 Online Purchases
When you make any purchase through our websites, you must make that payment to us using Braintree Payment gateway - PayPal (Europe) S.a.r.l. et Cie, which is is a validated Level 1 PCI DSS Compliant Service Provider. We do not collect any payment information from the User; we merely control that data in passing it on to Braintree, for them to process the payment. All credit card information (cardholder names, numbers, expiration dates, CVC number) are managed by our secure payment gateway via Braintree, which works to protect the security of your credit card information by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology (the industry standard to secure online commerce transactions) to encrypt the information you input. This data processing is necessary to process the payment itself and is required for the User to upgrade or renew their paid subscription to the platform.

Please be aware that while visiting our site, Visitors can follow links to other sites that are beyond our sphere of influence. tagtog is not responsible for the content or privacy policy of these other sites.
5. Retention and deletion
tagtog will not retain data longer than is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or as required by applicable laws or regulations. When a users’s account is terminated, all Personal Data collected through the platform will be deleted, as required by applicable law.
6. Acceptance of these Conditions
We assume that all Visitors of our website and users of tagtog’s platform have carefully read this document and agree to its contents. If someone does not agree with this privacy policy, they should refrain from using our website and platform.
tagtog reserves the right to make changes to this privacy policy at any time by giving notice to its Users on this page and possibly within this Website and/or - as far as technically and legally feasible - sending a notice to Users via any contact information available to the Owner. It is strongly recommended to check this page often, referring to the date of the last modification listed at the top.
This privacy policy is an integral part of tagtog's Terms of Service.
7. Our Legal Obligation to Disclose Personal Information
We will reveal a user’s personal information without his/her prior permission only when we have reason to believe that the disclosure of this information is required to establish the identity of, to contact or to initiate legal proceedings against a person or persons who are suspected of infringing rights or property belonging to tagtog or to others who could be harmed by the user’s activities or of persons who could (deliberately or otherwise) transgress upon these rights and property. We are permitted to disclose personal information when we have good reason to believe that this is legally required.
8. Sensitive Personal Data
GDPR specifies a set of personal data categories which are considered to be “sensitive”, and which require special consideration by Data Controllers. This website, and any services available from this website, do not knowingly collect or process any sensitive personal data.
9. Your Rights
As prescribed within data protection regulations, you have several rights connected to the provision of your personal data to tagtog using this platform or website. These include your rights to request that tagtog:
- confirms to you what personal data it may hold about you, if any, and for what purposes
